Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Jayant Chaudhary & OP Rajbhar Joint rally in Varanasi
Voting is being held today for the sixth phase of the UP assembly elections 2022. Meanwhile, the campaigning for the seventh and last phase of polling is also at its peak. Today, opposition parties have given their full strength in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Polling is going to be held here on March 7. The campaign will end here on the evening of March 5. To strengthen Akhilesh-Jayant’s position in Purvanchal, today Mamta Banerjee will hold a rally and roadshow in Varanasi with both the leaders. SubhaSP President Omprakash Rajbhar will also be present in this.
There will be a joint rally of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Mamta Banerjee at Aidhe on the Ring Road in Varanasi. This will be followed by road shows in the city North, South and Cantt assembly constituencies. Preparations have been completed for the public meeting of SP President Akhilesh Yadav and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to be held in Aidhe village. Akhilesh will leave for Varanasi by private plane at 10 am. Helicopter from Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport will leave here for Robertsganj Sonbhadra
SP President Akhilesh Yadav got permission for two hours for roadshow
district administration has given permission for road-show from 8 to 10 pm on Wednesday night. Whereas permission was sought from the SP Metropolitan President between 4 pm and 8 pm. The party had started preparations for this. The local leaders have apprised the SP President.
On March 4, Metropolitan President Vishnu Sharma had sought permission for Akhilesh Yadav’s roadshow from Bharatmata temple to the church via Sigra, Rath Yatra, Gurubagh, Laksa. The roadshow was scheduled from 5 pm to 8 pm. SP’s national spokesperson and MLC Sanjay Lather accused the district administration of discrimination. Said that earlier the route was changed and now the time has also been cut. A complaint will be made to the Election Commission.
